The Krafty Kabin:
Est 2021
In 2021, following the completion of my A-Levels in Art, Geography, and Product Design, I launched The Krafty Kabin to stay creatively engaged during the challenges of COVID-19. The business allowed me to translate my creativity into tangible, sustainable products, crafting handmade items from recyclable materials and designing packaging that was both eco-friendly and durable. Running the business gave me valuable experience managing finances, overseeing operations, and delivering bespoke, high-quality products to clients, while also deepening my understanding of sustainable design and the process of turning ideas into meaningful, market-ready creations.
Running The Krafty Kabin was not just about creating products—it also taught me invaluable skills in sales, client management, and time organisation. Managing an online store and coordinating with customers helped me develop a clear understanding of sales strategy and customer service, while juggling product creation with orders required careful planning and efficient time management. These skills have since proved essential in both my academic and professional journey, shaping the way I approach projects, deadlines, and client collaboration.
